Dreaming It is the day before Annie’s birthday party. All of her presents are wrapped, and I’m making a list of what I have to do in the morning before her party, which is after school. On the list, I write: buy food, buy pink crepe paper and gold paper. There is a shed in the garden on the left; the shed is divided in half. The left half is empty, so I am going to cover the outside walls in the pink crepe…

Reverse
Dreaming I am in my car in a school with Amelia and Rosie. It is raining hard. Amelia gets out of the car to go into one of the buildings. I drive the car up towards the building, but then realise that I can’t turn around and will have to reverse out. I put the car in reverse and start to move. I am feeling overwhelmed by a cellist and a violinist on my left. I go into the corridor; it is lunchtime. Rosie is in the corridor holding a lit piece of rolled-up paper. She…
Crossroads
Dreaming I am walking along Chestnut Avenue, further up from my house, with Ant. He looks up into a tree and spots a bird’s nest; it has whitish fluff coming out of the bottom. Ant goes over to it; I don’t know what he’s going to do; this can’t be part of his job. He removes the…
