Built

Dreaming

My Dad has built a house and is living in it. It has clean lines and a lot of cream and beige. The kids and I are moving in with him. I work out that Dad can have most of the rooms downstairs, and we can go upstairs. Dad has an office and a meditation room, as well as a bedroom. I am telling someone about the house, and I take the credit for Dad’s rooms even though it was actually him who did them.

I am standing in a kitchen of a house, looking over at the house that Dad built. All of Jim’s children are in the garden of Dad’s house, having a look. It is windy out, and I see Dad’s house swaying in the wind. It’s starting to look flimsy; I’m worried it will fall down. I realise that he built the house very quickly and didn’t put in foundations of any kind; because of this, the house will not withstand the weather.

The house falls down with Jim’s kids in the garden. I watch as they all get up from the rubble; they’re all okay.
