Dreaming
I am going out for lunch with Craig. He pulls up in his car, and I am in mine, but kind of in his too. I have all the children with me. I hadn’t told him they were all coming along. Craig pulls up the back window, and I can’t see behind me anymore. We are parked in the car park of the Carvery in Northbridge. I wonder if our cars are blocking the way for others, but no one else is coming, so it doesn’t really matter. We’re ready to leave, but Craig needs a wee. Craig becomes Rachel. She gets out of her car, which is in front of mine and runs across the road to go to the toilet.
I am in Toys R Us with the children. There is a circular thing on the ground. I and some others have some kind of thing to do with it.
I go out to the car park to find Craig still waiting. He is annoyed and says he has to be back at work in five minutes, so it’s too late for us to go out now. He lights up a cigarette and smokes it. I say to him, “I didn’t know you smoke.” This is a dealbreaker for me, but then I realise I’ve always known it, and it wouldn’t be fair to complain now.
