I meditated tonight for the first time in many years.
I allowed myself to sink deeply into the meditation. At first, I saw flashes of purple and an eye. More purple followed before I felt the warm orange glow around me and my spirit guides around me.
My guide, in this instance, was an old man, holding a wooden staff in his left hand. The staff, I was told, is mine to use if ever I tire and need some help. The man had a long beard but was not of any religious denomination, nor was he a familiar figure. I felt that I was told the word humble, and I felt awkward at the thought that I am not humble.
The meditation went on to reveal the word sacrifice; this seemed to be bigger and more important. I feel scared at this word; worried about what it may mean for me. In hindsight, maybe my guide is referring to the sacrifice that I have been contemplating with Tom.
It feels good to be meditating and communicating with my guides again, and although my mind wandered a fair amount, I feel positive about my experience.
I feel very excited about the prospect of reconnecting with my spiritual beliefs again.
