Relaunch

After months of not knowing what to do, yesterday I decided to just do something. Anything.

I debated getting a job in a shop, but then thought, why don’t I just restart my photography business? At least that way, I’d hopefully be getting some work, but still be able to be home for the children, and still have some time to carry on exploring what else I want to do. I’m still waiting for my life’s purpose to magically appear to me. I suspect I’ll get to eighty and realise my purpose was to just live as good and happy a life as possible and stop overthinking so much. I don’t know if my photography business will be any more successful than last time, but I can only try. In the meantime, I can continue to write, and maybe it’ll lead me elsewhere.

Today I spent the day editing some photos, designing a header for my Facebook page and coming up with a new pricing strategy, because if I’m going to do this, I’m going to do it the way I wanted to four years ago, but was talked out of by too many people.  Once I’d done all that, I re-launched my Facebook page and got the ball rolling.

By the time I got into bed, I had thirty-three followers on my page and four people saying they wanted to book. Hopefully, something will come of it this time.
