Shed

Dreaming It is the day before Annie’s birthday party. All of her presents are wrapped, and I’m making a list of what I have to do in the morning before her party, which is after school. On the list, I write: buy food, buy pink crepe paper and gold paper. There is a shed in the garden on the left; the shed is divided in half. The left half is empty, so I am going to cover the outside walls in the pink crepe…

Presence

Dreaming I am a pupil at school. Even though I am an adult, I am hoping that I won’t feel overwhelmed like I did when I was at school as a child. I am outside; it is break time. There is a male teacher with grey hair whom I feel a great attraction to. It’s not sexual; it is a deep spiritual love, although my need to physically be with him is vast. I am at his side constantly, there to help him if he wants it….

Reverse

Dreaming I am in my car in a school with Amelia and Rosie. It is raining hard. Amelia gets out of the car to go into one of the buildings. I drive the car up towards the building, but then realise that I can’t turn around and will have to reverse out. I put the car in reverse and start to move. The car is going fast, and the brakes aren’t working. I can’t stop, and I think I will hit the tree that is coming up. The brakes finally work just before I hit the tree.

Assumption

Dreaming There is a man in the garage doing some work for us, possibly decorating. As he has helped us, there is an assumption that I will fancy him. I do feel a little attracted to him. Amelia comes over with Zoe and asks me for a new bra in time for school in the morning. I tell her it’s too late as it’s a Sunday late afternoon and all the shops are shut. She says she keeps getting goosebumps where her boobs have grown and no longer fit in her bra….

Unentitled

Dreaming I am in a music room of a school. I am sitting with a group of people singing a song that is very familiar to me, less so to them. I take the manuscript to the piano and begin to play, but it doesn’t come as easily as it used to. I try for a few minutes and then stop. I am feeling overwhelmed by a cellist and a violinist on my left. I go into the corridor; it is lunchtime. Rosie is in the corridor holding a lit piece of rolled-up paper. She…

Wisdom

Dreaming I am in the living room. I pull up an area of the carpet to reveal a beautiful wooden floor. I say to Tom that we should pull it all up, as we now have the floor we want. As I look closer, I can see there are actually more layers of carpet to…

Crossroads

Dreaming I am walking along Chestnut Avenue, further up from my house, with Ant. He looks up into a tree and spots a bird’s nest; it has whitish fluff coming out of the bottom. Ant goes over to it; I don’t know what he’s going to do; this can’t be part of his job. He removes the…

Cleaning

Dreaming I am at the house on Church Lane. There are three cars in the driveway; Dad, Abi, her boyfriend, and I are supposed to be cleaning Dad’s car, but I am the only one doing anything. I am scrubbing really hard on some areas to get the dirt out; I am using a strong…

Bunking

Dreaming I am in school with Sarah; it is first school, and we are singing nursery rhymes. I am bored as I know them already. At break time, Sarah and I leave the school and start walking down a very steep hill. I am struggling to carry a suitcase/fridge down with me. I realise it…

Gang

Dreaming I have been to the theatre with Tom. We go back to his house, which is a bungalow. It has a large grass area out the front of the house and a block of flats behind it. There is a gang war going on as we approach; we ignore it and go in. Tom…

Scraggly

Dreaming I am outside a school; a white van pulls up. Alison gets out and opens up the side door. Inside are five dogs; she says I can have one. I see a Great Dane and part of me wants it, but I decide against it. There is a really cute little dog; he is…

Baby

Dreaming I am at 18 Devon Street. Erin knocks on the door; she has a friend with her. They both have babies that are seven months old. They ask if I will look after the babies. I agree, and they hand me the babies’ bags and put a baby in each arm. Erin kisses her…
