Dreaming
I am in school with Sarah; it is first school, and we are singing nursery rhymes. I am bored as I know them already. At break time, Sarah and I leave the school and start walking down a very steep hill. I am struggling to carry a suitcase/fridge down with me. I realise it has wheels, so I tilt it and push it down like that. As we get to the bottom, I realise I’m going to have to get it back up again to the top, and I don’t know how I’ll manage, as it was hard enough to get it down. At the bottom of the hill, we come across a bar where they sell hot chocolate drinks. I tell Sarah about my holiday, that I’m leaving today to go to Cornwall. I am searching through the school for things I may need for my holiday; it feels more like an adventure than a holiday. I feel no excitement, just relaxed. I look on top of a large brown wardrobe and see two cameras hidden there. I also look in cupboards and on shelves. We realise it’s time to go back to school, and I suggest we bunk off as I feel we know all that we are being taught anyway. I remind Sarah that when we used to go to school it was always me that encouraged her to bunk off, and I’m still doing it now. I just can’t understand why I need to be back in school doing rhymes.
Greg is at my house and has moved back in; I don’t love him or like him and am really angry with him. I can hear him shouting at Josh. I look out of the window from behind the curtains. I tell Greg to leave and go back to Diane. He gets his belongings and goes.
We are in a street; there is my car and a green car. The green car is driving itself and not stopping. Josh is trying to stop it. It stops and then goes again; Josh stops it again. I tell him to keep hold of it while I get in. I run over, climb in the car and see Josh in my mirror. He is pushing the car hard, and I realise it has been him all along, making the car go out of control. I press the brakes, but they don’t work properly until the car bumps into my car, leaving a dent in it. I find this funny, but I’m annoyed too. I park the car outside a house but am not sure which space it should go into.
