Scraggly

Black continuous line drawing of a van with its sliding side door open, revealing five dogs inside. The dogs include a tall Great Dane, a Labrador, a Labrador puppy, a long-eared spaniel and a small scruffy dog with large, sad eyes.

Dreaming

I am outside a school; a white van pulls up. Alison gets out and opens up the side door. Inside are five dogs; she says I can have one. I see a Great Dane and part of me wants it, but I decide against it. There is a really cute little dog; he is quite scraggly-looking, but has lovely huge brown eyes – sad eyes. I notice two other dogs there but don’t notice much about them; then I spot a Labrador puppy. He is so cute – I decide on him.

I take him from the van and start to walk him down the street when I realise that I never wanted a Labrador; I wanted a golden retriever. I take the dog back to Alison and ask her if I can have the scraggly-looking one instead.

I notice loads of schoolchildren with dogs and am absolutely outraged at Alison for doing this. I go into the school and make a complaint about Alison doing this to the children. Alison eventually gets back in the van with all the dogs and drives away.
