Open

Dreaming

I am upstairs with Abi and Connor, squeezing spots on Connor’s eyes. The spots aren’t visible, but I know they’re there. Loads and loads of pus is coming out of each one.

I go around the house opening the windows. I open two upstairs and then one downstairs – the living room one. I sit on the sofa, and a few tiny flies appear around my head, which is what you get when you open windows; they don’t bother me for long. I leave the living room and enter the dining room. Someone is carrying a sandwich in from the kitchen. Jonny comes down the stairs. I ask him what time he and Josh went to sleep; he says 9am; it’s now 1pm. I tell Johnny that four hours sleep is not enough and then realise that’s all Tom had too. I slept for eight hours. The person with the sandwich, which appears to be an egg sandwich, hands it to Jonny.

I go into the kitchen and decide to wash all Annie’s bottles up at last. I remove the bowl from the cupboard; upon doing so, I can see a hole in the wall on the right that I hadn’t noticed before. Suddenly, tons of water is in the cupboard, Josh is with me, and we’re watching it, hoping it won’t go everywhere. It doesn’t; it manages to find its way to the drain and washes all away. I think the water must be coming from the utility room, although I’ve never noticed it in there either.
