Dreaming
I am on a beach; it seems to be split in two halves, but I can’t quite see how. I can, however, see that the part of the beach furthest away, to the right, the tide is out. There are people on this part that are doing something that gets my attention. I go over and see what looks like worms in the wet sand; the people are getting them out of the sand, but I don’t know why. I need to go back to the other side of the beach where I have left Annie in her pram.
I go out on a boat with Andy; I think Annie is with us too. I look over the side of the boat into the sea and see a big orange fish. I wonder if I will see a whale, and then I spot something big and black in the water. I keep looking and can see it is a black horse. I point it out to Andy, but he can’t see it. I look hard at the horse and see that it has very big teeth.
I am in a shop. I don’t have much money on me, but I need some shopping. I get the shopping I need and go to the counter, which has a big light window behind it where I can see the comings and goings of outside. The cashier takes ages and ages to put it all through the till, a couple of hours it seems. There is a queue forming behind me. As she scans the last item, I realise I don’t have any money at all, but I don’t want to have to say anything in front of everyone in the queue, as they’ve already been waiting so long. I want to be able to go and get some money, but I know that I don’t have any.
