My Dad came over today. We were in the kitchen talking and joking around, which involved some swearing and a rude joke.

When Dad left, Tom came into the kitchen and said that he never wants to hear me talking like that with my Dad again. He said it was wrong and there was something wrong with me if I thought that was an acceptable way to talk with my parent.

Is there any part of my life he doesn’t want a say in?
