Dreaming
I am in what looks like a school hall; it is a big room with windows all along one side and a brown-framed door on the right-hand side (of the windows). I am going to have my photograph taken. Linda is the photographer. It is daytime. Linda has gone to a wardrobe on the left, the brown wardrobe that I used to have in Devon Street, and is holding up a turquoise cardigan she says I should wear for one of the photographs. I recognise it as Olivia’s cardigan.
We all leave to get ready for the photographs. I go to Abi’s where a man is hanging a banner. It is a hot summer’s day, and I have come to collect Dawn to play with Annie. Dawn is inside. Scott and Lizzie are outside; they have on a vest, t-shirt and a jumper. It is too hot for all those clothes. Abi comes out ready to leave and has put on a coat and scarf. I can’t believe how many clothes she has on; she must be boiling.
I am getting ready for the photographs. I choose an outfit and take out the turquoise cardigan and also Amelia’s grey/white striped top for a change. I realise it will be nighttime and dark when the photos are taken, and I wonder why we didn’t do it in natural light, which would have been easier. I also realise that Linda is a singing teacher and a photographer and that she can do both equally well.
