Dreaming
I’m at home; Josh comes home feeling happy. Tom goes up to his bedroom; I can hear him shouting at Josh. I go to Josh, and Tom leaves; Josh is hurt and upset. I ask Josh what it was about; he said he was at Danny’s, needed a poo, chose the toilet that had no door and was open for all to see, and that a woman had come along and seen him. She had reported back to everyone else, and Josh thought it was funny.
I’m at a hospital in the waiting room with Susie, Billy and the children. Susie is in a bad mood. I see Mum coming along. I grab Rosie and hug her to hide me. Mum doesn’t see me and turns down a corridor to go up some stairs. Susie asks if things are really that bad with Mum. I say they are to me and that I don’t want to get stuck talking to her. It seems Mum saw us anyway and has come back to talk to us. I am telling Mum about why Susie is annoyed with me, but Susie is within earshot, and I don’t want her to hear. The waiting room has a shop; I queue to pay for some stuff. I join the queue on the right; there is a queue on the left which is much longer. Those people don’t realise they can join the shorter queue too. It is almost my turn to pay; there are four women in front who all go up together. They all have a loaf of freshly baked bread to pay for.
I am at the beach; it is a really hot day even though it is only March. I walk along the beach to the right of me. The beach is full of people enjoying the hot weather. At the end of the beach, with a road adjoining, there are two teenage girls in bikinis but with long T-shirts on as they are too shy to go without them. They are dancing; they are good, but they feel embarrassed and self-conscious. Despite that, they do it anyway. I let the water wash over my feet; it feels lovely. On the beach, on the far right side is a very large sandcastle someone has made. The overall feeling on the beach is of joy and happiness; everyone is really enjoying the unusually warm weather and making the most of it. I walk back up to where I started from and go into a home. Auntie Nicola is there; she needs the toilet. As she goes into the bathroom, I tell her not to lock the door in case she has a problem. I wait for her to come back out.
