Dreaming
It is a Saturday morning, and I am driving to Elmsford. Greg, Amelia and Rosie are with me. The car doesn’t feel like it is working properly; it is bumpy, but I ignore it. I am driving fast, and I find myself falling out of the window. I struggle to get back in and keep the car under control. It worries me, and I realise I’m going too fast and not sensibly enough. As I drive down a tree–lined avenue, the steering wheel comes off in my hands; I panic and shout out Greg’s name. He takes control of the car and brings it to a standstill. A man stops in front of us and looks at us, then drives away. We manage to drive the car to Tom’s house. I get out and use a key to let myself in. Tom comes out of a room in a white shirt that has dirt and stains all over it. He looks dishevelled and shocked to see me. He can’t speak and is fussing around. I feel I have caught off guard, and he doesn’t want me there. I explain about my car and say that I ought to bring the girls in.
I am in a submarine with some other people; we need rescuing. Through the submarine door, I see Dean and Justin. Justin rescues us but is angry about it. Dean comes into the submarine, and I hug him; I am scared, but grateful to be helped.
