Gang

Dreaming

I have been to the theatre with Tom. We go back to his house, which is a bungalow. It has a large grass area out the front of the house and a block of flats behind it. There is a gang war going on as we approach; we ignore it and go in. Tom makes me and Susie some food and then goes to the toilet. Susie is naked.

It is time to go to the theatre again. I have on a long black satin dress. We go out to Susie’s car; it is a red sports car with two seats. We can’t fit Susie in. The car becomes a five-seater, but the back is small. Tom says to Susie that she may be able to fit in the middle, implying that she is too fat.

Me, Josh, and Rosie return from the theatre. The gang war is much worse and is going on outside Tom’s house. People have knives. As we get to the front door, the gang comes right up to us. Two men have knives; they are going to stab each other. I am searching for the key to get in; Josh is screaming and really scared. Rosie is holding a knife, and she stabs one man in the leg; the gang begins to cheer.

I find the right key, which hadn’t been there before, and rush in, locking the door behind us. I know that we are involved in the war now. I go to the front of the house – the kitchen is at the front – and I lock the windows, but not properly, as a boy climbs through, but then leaves again. I make the girls chocolate sandwiches, and Josh, beans on toast.

My dad and Tom arrive; Dad has come to take Josh to a play at my old school. Dad and Josh arrive back from school, but Dad is also Clare. He is saying that one of the teachers at school is actually an ascended master, but he can’t remember which one. I am going through all the teachers’ names I can remember to try and work out which one it could be.
